Vintage 1890s Indian Burmese Solid Silver & Coconut Shell Teapot Sugar Bowl Milk Jug. An extremely rare complete Indian silver & coconut shelled teaset in good condition. The hand carved coconuts have various praying figures on them, the silver rims of all pieces are engraved by hand B. They all sit on three silver feet. The teapot has a small split to side of coconut, the silver spout, lid handle, handle and feet all have some small dents in places, the silver liner is in good condition though when I put some water in, it leaked from where the spout meets the coconut, the main carry handle has also had a repair where it meets the teapot at some point, the teapot lid fits snugly.
The milk jug/creamer has some small dents in places to silver lining and handle, the handle has had a previous repair at some point, the coconut shell is in good condition. The sugar pot has some small dents in places to silver lining, the coconut shell is in good condition. The teapot measures approx 14cm high by 18cm long tip of spout to end of handle by 11cm diameter.
