Vintage Pipe Axe Indian Tomahawk Spontoon Style Star Sunburst Cutaway Blade

  
Original old pipe axe tomahawk, nice forged iron head. I love the stars and sunburst cut into the blade. Original handle with old square shank tacks. There is quite a bit of file branding marks on the handle. Small burnt area on the haft.

Probably Osage Indian in origin. 24" haft and 12 1/2" head. Belongs in a museum or advanced collection.
