Vintage Indian Hardwood Console Hall Table. Lovely large, solid hardwood Indian sheesham hall, console table or open sideboard made by William Sheppee. Good quality when new and it is still in lovely, ready to use condition, the console is made from solid wood and is very heavy and will take at least 2 or 3 people to lift it. The thick, solid wood rectangular top is above an arrangement of 3 large drawers with a rectangular base below. The table is then supported by 3 sets of 3 turned columns with 2 shelves in between, the columns then stand on large solid wooden feet.

The drawers slide fine and are nice and clean inside, to the front are the original cast iron handles. In good vintage condition, some marks and slight ring stains are to the top (pictured), slight white blooming on the drawer fronts (pictured), very slight movement overall, otherwise it just has the usual small marks and blemishes to the surfaces but only what you would expect to see.
