Vintage Hand Carved Lord Shiva Hindu Wooden Statue Large 13 Hand Made In India

  

Gorgeous hand carved figure/sculpture of Hindu Lord Shiva handmade in India with hand carved wood (see markings in images). This figure features the Lord Shiva deity with the expected trident spear and cobras.

The carving is very well executed and possesses a lot of intricate details. Condition is very good, some minor scuffs from age on the back. There is a crack to the wood on the back of the base but that may have been there at the time of creation.

I believe this was carved out of either rosewood or fruit wood. Marked on the back by the art venue in India where this was made.
