This listing is for a Vintage Belgium 100% Worsted Wool Oriental Rug Carpet with an Indian Agra or Amritstar Trees & Animals Design measuring 54 inches by 77 1/2 inches overall (one sampling). Wool pile, cotton warp and weft. This class of rugs use Kork / Virgin wool quality which makes them very special. In excellent vintage condition with salvages worn / split.

While still in place if one pulls on salvages , they will come out. Salvages could be hand done keeping the old salvages in place for color enhancement and overcasting them by hand.

Ends should otherwise be secured to prevent rug from unravelling. It has been soak washed by a textile conservator (6/2017) and it is clean enough to touch face with.

Peachy ivory field with blues and browns and ivories , oranges and other colors. Images are continuous and have an order front , back, sides, etc..
