VINTAGE ANTIQUE PIERCED ANGLO INDIAN VIZAGAPATAM BOX VISAKHAPATNAM VIZAG. This is a beautiful box, I believe to be from Vizagapatam in India, or perhaps a Chinese export box.... Extremely striking in its pierced decoration. Pierced to the lid and sides..

I think at one point It may have had some felt pads to the feet for protection to surfaces, but have long since come off.. A couple of very minor cracks, please see the photographs.. But certainly do not detract from its condition. The pierced fretwork is first class.. The box measures approx: 5 Inches(12.8cms) X 3 Inches(7.7cms) X Just under 2 Inches(5cms).
