Vintage Antique Black UmbreIla with Solid Silver Indian Handle of Hindu Gods

  
This is a beautiful very old umbrella. It is a black fabric canopy which has one spoke that has detatched from the material, check photos. And it has a heavy solid silver handle. The silver has oxidised over time so appears darker, this could be cleaned up easily but I have left it as it is as i prefer an oxidised look. I cannot find any hallmarks that are obvious to me but it has been tested as silver. It is a wonderful piece of history! Because they are old treasures, they will have light wear and sometimes light surface scratches and or marks, as expected with pieces of age, history and stories to tell. I try to clean pieces sympathetically so as not to over polish and to retain some of their vintage authenticity. So it is always advisable to check the photos for more details on each piece.
