Bottle may have been for water, oil, spices etc. I have owned this for over 30 years, majority of which time it has been in dry/safe storage. Missing paint on the bottle has been stable for a long time and is not a recent event. It measures 11 1/2 full height bottle plus stopper. Approx 7-8 wide at midway point. The wooden stopper has been handmade and is two tier style. Gold and red paint draw lines around the front and back portraits, and it is painted gold around the neck up to the opening/stopper. Portraits show a man and woman sharing a drink together sat on the floor, with temples and mountains behind them. The bottle has patches of missing painting in parts but there is no damage or stopper to the bottle itself.
Moon and star painted on a depressed base. This item is in the category "Antiques\Asian/Oriental Antiques\Indian". The seller is "renee1735" and is located in this country: GB.
