Burmese Octagonal Folding Table

  
Late 19th / early 20th century painted Burmese painted and lacquered octagonal folding table. Incredibly detailed decoration, cosmetic split to top (see photos) and age related wear, as you would expect, but nothing that detracts from the beauty of the hand applied design depicting scenes from the palace. The wear on top the legs is only visible when folded, when open and in use this is hidden as the panels sits tightly together. Legs fold out and the table top sits on these. 39cm Height, 38cm width across top, 23cm width across feet/base.
