Antique Vintage Large Indian Candle Stand Column Head Re Purposed Blue Teak

Antique Indian fabulous column head that has been re purposed as a candle stand, fantastic patina, distressed mainly blue in colour, hand carved in teak, some areas of bare teak visible. This item was sourced Rajasthan and would have originally been one of two on either end of a pillar in a haveli or a merchants residence. It dates from the mid 1700's, the steel circular plate with candle spike is a recent addition. It has been lightly cleaned and waxed and is ready to use.
