Mughal India Dhal Round Battle Shield Armor Leather & Iron. For your consideration is a stunning 18th century Indian armor dhal. All hand made of thick, multilayered leather or hide with 4 wrought iron buttons upfront and and 4 hoops with leather straps at the back.

It is an original battle shield. Circa 1700's, Mughal India. 16.75" - 16.5" diameter (across) x 4 high.

Practically all intact It shows sighs of wear as it has been apparently used in battle. One of the leather straps is teared but present. Take a look at the other items we have for sale now.
