A Vintage Pair of Carved Ebony Wood Sculpture Vishnu Riding Garuda Bali Indonesia 16 High. These Stunning Hardwood Hand Carvings are of Vishnu Riding Garuda (the Big Bird).

The large one has Naga (Serpents) around his feet and sits on top of a Giant Turtle. Hand-Carved in the round from a single piece of wood. The Large one is in Ebony. The smaller one may be another a different Tropical Hardwood (possibly Coromandel).

Approximate Dimensions: 16 Inches High (Largest). Total Weight (of Both Figures) is 4 Kilograms. These Vintage Pair of Carved Ebony Wood Sculptures Vishnu Riding Garudain are in Excellent Condition. Vishnu on the large piece is missing part of the right arm but otherwise there are only a few bits of wear overall typical of its Vintage (nothing of significance).
