Vintage Southeast Asian Hindu Hand Carved Wooden Frieze Ganesha and Saraswati. Lovely large frieze featuring a central Ganesha (prosperity, protection) with two images of Saraswati flanking the elephant-headed god. The three major figures are separated by musicians and a canopy covers the 3 protagonists. Figures hold up the central register (band). Four flowers frame the whole scene.

The whole measures 36 long x 11.5 high. There are minor chips in the corners and two shallow stress cracks on the back.
