Antique / Vintage So. California Cahuilla Mission Indian Basket Tray / Bowl

  

A nice old and early example from The Palm Springs OF southern California. The Cahuillas were one of the many so Cal Mission tribes that are so named because of their geographical proximity to the old original California Missions established by the Spanish Catholic clergy.

Just found in a local estate. It has nice color , patina, and almost a rattlesnake type designs.
