A nicely sized vintage Navajo rug from the Crystal Trading Post area of the Navajo nation with a VERY GRAPHIC design. LOTS OF RED as well natural churro wool colors as It has selvege on all four sides. It is missing all four end tassels as is typical on these really old ones that were actually used. Originally it's reported that it was found in an old New Mexico Trading Post that dated from the 1880s. This weaving looks to be c1915-25. A nice size to display on a wall, over a couch, under another piece of ethnograpic art, on a table, on your bed, or use on the floor and it has NO RESERVE!
